Dr. Adel Ahmed, Former Dean of the College of Computing and Mathematics at KFUPM, Joins HashMove Advisory Board

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Adel Ahmed to the Advisory Board of HashMove.

A distinguished academic and digital transformation leader, Dr. Adel brings over 20 years of experience in higher education, technology innovation, and national capacity building.

During his tenure as Dean at KFUPM, he led the digital transformation of the College by embedding AI and Cybersecurity into over 35 professional programs, launching 9 professional master’s programs, and establishing the SDAIA-KFUPM Joint Research Center, securing multi-million-dollar research funding.

Dr. Adel has also played a pivotal role in advancing cybersecurity education and accreditation in Saudi Arabia, driving forward initiatives such as CyberShield-14, and integrating cybersecurity principles across academic curricula.

In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Adel has contributed to national digital healthcare strategy as an advisor to the Security Forces Hospital Program under the Ministry of Interior, shaping IT policies and supporting the development of Medical Cities in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar.
